King James Advises Gerald Green on the Court by Derrel “Jazz” Johnson

LeBron James of the Miami Heat takes a lot of criticism for alleged shortcomings on the court, and, I too, have critiqued him when needed ( https://razzandjazzsports.wordpress.com/2011/06/10/lebron-the-magician-james/ ). But the criticism isn’t balanced with the praise that he should be afforded for what he does on and off the court. In the video below, King James offers advice to Gerald Green of the New Jersey Nets, who was in the NBA Developmental League a two months ago. Check out the quote and video below.

“He told me that he is very happy for me. Very happy I’m back in the league. He told me cherish it. He said cherish the moment. He said you’re doing a good job, your playing pretty good. I said thank you and good luck in the playoffs. It’s always good for someone like LeBron to say something like that because he’s such a good, well-know player.”
