Daily Debate: What Off-Season Moves Should the Knicks Make?
The season for the New York Knicks ended last night with their 106-94 loss to the Miami Heat. After losing in the first round 4-1, what off-season moves should the New York Knicks make? What should be prioritized? Voice your opinion on the Razz and Jazz Sports Blog Daily Debate.

The Knicks need a true 2guard, trade Fields and Douglas, for draft picks then strengthen the bench. Amare and Melo must work together for the Knicks to prosper.
The Heat series exposed Novack for the truly one-dimensional player that he is. I would not invest significant money in re-signing him.
The Knicks will need a starting point guard for next season. I personally like Lin and his story, but I don’t see him as a long-term elite PG. Admittedly this may not be a solution for next year, but the Knicks should dratf Marquis Teague with their pick (hopefully they have one). His ability to penetrate will serve him at the next level. Tutelage under Strickland is always helpful.
Amare is the difficult part of this equation. Beginning today they should try to convince him that staring next year he will be the favorite for the 6th man award. His skills have diminished to the level that he cannot be counted on as a starter. In his place they should seek a lock-down defender / rebounder at the SF position.
Sign JR, but please sit him down in the video room so he can cut down on so many nonsensical turnovers.
I agree with the point guard issue, I think they could move Amare , sign the free- agent pg from Houston, Jr Smith needs to talk to Ray Allen on 2 guard play. We have no bench! This off- season is important Dolan needs his GM to score big!
