Will LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade Go On to Win It All?

The NBA Finals open today with the Oklahoma City Thunder hosting the Miami Heat. This matchup is reminiscent of the Los Angeles Lakers versus Boston Celtics NBA Finals clashes of the 1980s, as it features arguably the game’s top two players, LeBron James and Kevin Durant, as well as other superstars like Dwyane Wade and Russell Westbrook. Who will hold up the Larry O’Brien Trophy at the end of the series, the Heat or Thunder? Voice your opinion on the Razz and Jazz Sports Blog Daily Debate.

One Response to Daily Debate: Miami Heat or Oklahoma City Thunder, Who Will Win the NBA Championship?

  1. I picked the Oklahoma City Thunder to meet the Miami Heat at the beginning of the season to face one another in the NBA Finals, and I picked the Miami Heat to win, and will stay with that pick. The NBA is a league of stars, and, though the Thunder have more depth, I will take the top three of the Heat over the Thunder. Why? Defense. LeBron James is the best offensive player in the NBA, and one of the best defensive players in the league as well. I think he shall will his team to victory. His ability to guard multiple positions will play a key role, as he will probably guard Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden in the series. I expect Chris Bosh to have a big series too, as neither Kendrick Perkins nor Serge Ibaka want to guard him on the perimeter, and Durant isn’t big or strong enough to guard him. Finally, I think role players like Shane Battier and Mario Chalmers will play well for the Heat this close to the championship. These two have big-game experience, and it will prove of great value in this series. Miami Heat in six.
