  1. Joe Roberts, Jr. says:

They definitely have a better team than last year. If Bynum is healthy they are top 3 in the west. I still don’t see anyone on the Lakers guarding Durant or Westbrook.

  2. James Vincent Speller says:

Not sure! This is a whole new offensive scheme with the ball not being in Kobe hands so much! The question is can Kobe Kope with not dominating the ball and is this team any good now that their not running the triangle offense! You have to remember this team was fed, bred, and raised on the “Triangle Offense” can they Kope without it and will Kobe and Mike Brown see eye to eye!

  3. Chris Ross says:

No, but they are a team to look out for. OKC and Miami are still top dogs.

  4. Joe Roberts, Jr. says:

It should be interesting watching Nash play for a coach whose focus is defense. I think Brown will have to change his approach to accommodate Nash. The point about Kobe’s comfort level in playing without the ball is a good one. I think his respect for Nash will alleviate his need to dominate the ball. I revise my earlier remarks, if they are healthy going into the playoffs they would be the favorite to win it all.
