Mike Woodson Addresses Phil Jackson Rumors by Derrel Jazz Johnson

New York Knicks embattled head coach Mike Woodson answered questions about Knicks general manager Steve Mills reaching out to former Knick and winner of 11 NBA championships Phil Jackson regarding a coaching or front office job with the organization.  “I really don’t have an opinion on it…I am not going to entertain anything about Phil…I have a great deal of respect for Phil.”  In terms of job security, Woodson said “I’m the coach of the Knicks.  To me that means a lot.”

In terms of heath, Woodson said “Everybody is ready to go…Kenyon he’s out of the boot (but) he’s a ways away.  Moving forward, he said “we got to take it one game at a time and try to build on how we played…We still have an opportunity to make the playoffs.”
